I love window seats. This one is a favorite. I keep telling myself that if and when we get to move to a new house, there should be one in my own bedroom. I will demand it! Hahaha!

My mom was big on entertaining guests. She was an ultimate hostess. Guests wouldn’t go home disappointed or feeling unwelcome. My mom had that gift of making everyone feel welcome.

I am the opposite of my mom. I am not sure if it’s my habit of assuming everyone wants to be left alone. Or my dislike for hovering over someone or being hovered on. But I can really say I am not a good hostess. I need my sisters with me if there are visitors coming over.

I keep telling my family and closest friends that I’ll be truly happy if I will have a reading corner at home. Something like this. I am sure you won’t find me anywhere at home but here!

Isn’t it obvious that I love reading?

I was so busy gathering all the materials and topics I want to post here that I actually forgot to write them down and publish. My bad.

Expect posts to be up at least twice or thrice a day this coming week.

I just love, love, love this dining area! It’s so cozy and just the right amount of red in it. And look at those shelves adjacent the dining set… looks great! I want one for my very own dining area as well.

I can already picture the family sitting around this dining table, good food spread on it, and talking about what’s happening around town.

I have always been fascinated with this New Age object… A dreamcatcher is a handmade object based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web. It is normally decorated with feathers and beads.

They say that with the dreamcatcher…

Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through . . . Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day.

Or that…

Good dreams pass through the center hole to the sleeping person. The bad dreams are trapped in the web, where they perish in the light of dawn.

It’s recommended to hang the dream catcher above someone sleeping to guard against bad dreams. Good dreams pass through and slide down the feathers to the sleeper.

I love to have a dreamcatcher. For now, this blog will do.
